What is Text to PDF?
Create a PDF from pasted text using the built-in jsPDF helper. You type or paste your text, adjust a few options and download the result. The work happens in your browser tab, so the file you choose is not uploaded to our servers.
How to use Text to PDF
- Type or paste your text into the settings box.
- Click Convert now to create the document.
- Download the PDF.
Format notes
- PDF: A fixed-layout document format. Pages keep the same appearance on every device, which makes PDFs ideal for sharing and printing.
Tips for better results
Plain text only is supported, so formatting such as bold or tables is not carried over.
A worked example
Paste several pages of plain notes, convert, and you get an A4 PDF with the text wrapped to the page width. Long text continues onto new pages automatically.
If something goes wrong
- Accented or non-Latin letters look wrong. The PDF uses a standard built-in font that supports basic Latin characters. For other scripts, use a word processor and export to PDF.
- Formatting such as bold or tables disappeared. Only plain text is supported.
Privacy and limits
Because processing happens locally, very large files depend on your device's memory and may be slow on older phones. If a conversion fails, try a smaller file or a different browser. See our privacy policy for details on how the site handles data.
